Tobias Adrian

Financial Counsellor & Director - Monetary and Capital Markets, International Monetary Fund (IMF)

Tobias Adrian is the Financial Counsellor and Director of the Monetary and Capital Markets Department of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). In this capacity, he leads the IMF鈥檚 work on financial sector surveillance, monetary and macroprudential policies, digital money, financial regulation, bank resolution, debt management, capital markets, and climate finance. He also oversees capacity building activities in IMF member countries with regard to the supervision and regulation of financial systems, bank resolution, central banking, monetary and exchange rate regimes, central bank digital currency, and debt management.

Prior to joining the IMF, Mr. Adrian was a Senior Vice President of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and the Associate Director of the Research and Statistics Group. At the Federal Reserve, he contributed to monetary policy, financial stability policies, and to crisis management. 

Mr. Adrian has published extensively in economics and finance journals. His research spans macro-finance, monetary policy, financial stability, and climate finance, with a focus on aggregate consequences of capital markets developments. He has taught at Princeton University and New York University. He is member of the editorial boards  of the International Journal of Central Banking and the Annual Review of Financial Economics. 

Mr. Adrian holds a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Economics, an MSc from the London School of Economics in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics, a Diplom from Goethe University Frankfurt and a Ma卯trise from Dauphine University Paris. He received his Abitur in Literature and Mathematics from Humboldtschule Bad Homburg.

Pina Albo

Chief Executive Officer, Hamilton

Pina Albo joined Hamilton as Chief Executive Officer in January 2018. Pina began her career as a lawyer in Toronto, Canada. After practicing in real estate, corporate finance and M&A, she accepted a position at Munich Re as a claims expert. During her 25-year career at Munich Re, Pina held increasingly senior positions which included Head of Casualty Unit, North America/UK and International D&O/EPL; Head of Casualty Operations at Munich Reinsurance Company of Canada and Temple Insurance Company; Executive Head of Department UK and Ireland; President, National Clients Division, Munich Re America; and President, Reinsurance Division, Munich Re America. Pina鈥檚 last position at Munich Re was Member of the Board of Executive Management where her responsibilities included P&C business and operations in Europe and Latin America. Pina currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Reinsurance Group of America, is the Chair of the Association of Bermuda Insurers and Reinsurers, and an Advisor to Overalls. She also serves as an ambassador for the Insurance Supper Club, an international organization that aims to improve networking opportunities for women across the finance and insurance industries.

Pina holds a Ma卯trise en Droit, International and European Community Law, from L鈥橴niversit茅 d鈥橝ix-Marseille III, Aix-en-Provence, France; a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University, Toronto, Canada; and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Languages from the University of Winnipeg, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Shigeru Ariizumi

Vice Minister for International Affairs, Financial Services Agency, Government of Japan (JFSA), Chair of IAIS Executive Committee

Shigeru Ariizumi is Vice Minister for International Affairs of the Japan Financial Services Agency (JFSA). He plays leading roles in various international fora. He is the member of the FSB Plenary and also serves as Chair of the Executive Committee of the IAIS, as well as the Vice Chair of the Board of IOSCO.

Before assuming his position in July 2023, he held key positions at the Japanese Ministry of Finance (JMOF) and the JFSA. At the JMOF, he worked as G7/G20 Deputies Deputy in the Finance Track and also supervised Japan鈥檚 relationship with the IMF and the World Bank. At the JFSA, he led the team under Japan鈥檚 G20 Presidency in 2019. He also has extensive experience in supervision, holding senior management positions in all banking, securities and insurance.

He holds a Bachelor degree in law from the University of Tokyo and a Master degree from Harvard Law School. He has passed the bar in Japan and the United States and is a registered attorney in the State of New York.

Neeti Bhalla Johnson

President - Global Risk Solutions, Liberty Mutual Insurance Company

Neeti Bhalla Johnson is the President, Global Risk Solutions, Liberty Mutual Insurance. She leads the company鈥檚 commercial, specialty insurance and Asia Retail Markets insurance business unit, with operations in 27 countries producing $23.6B in gross written premium. Notably, the business is ranked first in Global Surety and is the fifth largest global commercial and specialty lines writer. Neeti was previously President and Chief Investment Officer, Liberty Mutual Investments.

Neeti joined Liberty Mutual in September 2013. She was previously a managing director at Goldman Sachs. She began her career withGoldman Sachs in 2000, working as an analyst in the firm鈥檚 Investment Banking Division in London. In 2002, she joined the Goldman Sachs Investment Management Group in New York, where she was responsible for tactical asset allocation decisions for Private Wealth Management clients. In her position as head of the Tactical Asset Allocation team, she was a member of the Investment Strategy Group. Before Goldman Sachs, Neeti worked at the Central Bank of Kenya and the Nairobi Stock Exchange.

Neeti is the executive co-sponsor of LEAAP@Liberty (Leading and Empowering Asian & Ally Professionals) and an active participant inWE@Liberty, a women鈥檚 network and advocacy group at Liberty Mutual. While at Goldman Sachs, she also participated in the women鈥檚network and mentored women in the firm鈥檚 Returnship program. Neeti has been featured in Working Mothers Magazine, Glass Hammer,Insurance Business America, Insurance AUM Journal, as well as having been honored by the Foreign Policy Association.

Neeti was a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University, where she earned an MBA and MSc in Social Anthropology. She also has a BA in Economics from Kenyatta University in Nairobi, Kenya.Neeti currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Peterson Institute for International Economics; member of the International Council of the Belfer Center, Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard University; and a member of the Board of Trustees, Rhodes Trust, University of Oxford.

Amy Chester

Managing Director, Rebuild by Design

Amy Chester has spent more than 25 years in municipal policy, community engagement, real estate development and communications advocating for the built environment.

As the Managing Director of Rebuild by Design, Chester鈥檚 first task was to lead an international design-driven competition that utilized a truly inclusive and collaborative process to create implementable large-scale infrastructure projects to address the physical and social vulnerabilities exposed by Hurricane Sandy in the Northeast United States. The process resulted in $930 Million in awards from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development to implement the winning designs, now have over $4.2 Billion of investment. Under her leadership, Rebuild by Design transformed the competition鈥檚 collaborative approach into an organization that helps governments and communities replicate its success for a variety of scales in locations around the world to address challenges such as climate change, transportation, housing, community collaboration and equity.  Locally, Chester is  responsible for the research and strategic direction that led to New York State鈥檚 $4 Billion Environmental Bond Act for climate resilience and ecological restoration, as well as founding the NYS Adaptation Practitioners Network for professionals to share best practices.

Previously, Chester worked for NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg as Chief of Staff to the Deputy Mayor for Legislative Affairs and as a Senior Policy Advisor. In these roles she was responsible for the public engagement strategy of PlaNYC, which included initiatives such as the Million Trees Campaign, congestion pricing, and the Greener, Greater Buildings Plan. Chester鈥檚 other experiences in New York City government have included positions at the New York City Council, where she successfully ensured the inclusion of affordable housing in large-scale neighborhood rezonings, and at the New York City Housing Authority, where she created development plans to build the Harlem Children鈥檚 Zone鈥檚 school, and to redevelop a block of non-traditional public housing. Outside of government, Chester鈥檚 accomplishments include overseeing the development of a medical home for the Freelancers Union, crafting a democratic process which brought together 5000 New Yorkers for a one-day event to determine the future of the World Trade Center Site called Listening to the City, launching the Metropolitan Waterfront Alliance through M&R Strategic Services, and working on numerous electoral campaigns including Hillary Clinton鈥檚 winning NYS Senate and Barack Obama鈥檚 presidential campaigns.

Outside of her responsibilities at Rebuild by Design, Chester is a co-founder of  Resilience PAC 鈥 created to educate and elect candidates who prioritize climate resilience 鈥 and has taught at Syracuse University鈥檚 School of Architecture.

Gerry Cross

Director Financial Regulation - Policy & Risk, Central Bank of Ireland

Gerry Cross was appointed as Director of Financial Regulation Policy and Risk at the Central Bank of Ireland in May 2015. He leads the Central Bank鈥檚 work on prudential and conduct regulation and on its supervisory framework.

Gerry is a member of the Board of Supervisors of EBA and of the Executive Committee of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS), and alternate member of EIOPA Board of Supervisors. He co-chairs EBA鈥檚 Standing Committee on Regulation and Policy and chairs the European Supervisory Authorities鈥 work on implementing the Digital Operational Resiliance Act (DORA) in Europe. He is the IAIS Champion for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Jonathan Dixon

Secretary General, International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS)

Jonathan Dixon is Secretary General of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS), with effect from 3 November 2017. Prior to becoming Secretary General, Mr. Dixon had a long association with the IAIS, having been a member of the IAIS Executive Committee since 2009 and Chair of its Implementation Committee since 2012. He also chaired the Governing Council of the Access to Insurance Initiative (A2ii), a joint initiative of the IAIS and development partners aimed at strengthening responsible and inclusive insurance.

Prior to joining the IAIS, Mr. Dixon was Deputy Executive Officer at the Financial Services Board of South Africa, with responsibility for insurance regulation and supervision. He was appointed to this position by the Minister of Finance in 2008. Before that he worked for 10 years for the National Treasury of South Africa on economic and financial sector policy issues.

Mr. Dixon has a Master of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics.

Padma Elmgart

Chief Technology Officer, Global Atlantic Financial Group

Ms. Elmgart is currently the Chief Technology Officer and a member of the Management Committee of Global Atlantic Financial Group, a leading insurance company meeting the retirement and life insurance needs of individuals and institutions.  Previously, Elmgart held several roles at Deutsche Bank, including Chief Information Officer and Global Head of Equity Derivatives Technology.  She spent her early career at Citigroup on the trading floor and went on to work at Barclays, Lehman Brothers and JP Morgan.

In 2018, Ms. Elmgart was appointed a member of the Board of Directors of Streetwise Partners Inc., a nonprofit group which provides career advice and mentorship to adults from overlooked and under-resourced communities within New York, Washington, D.C. and Michigan.

Ms. Elmgart joined the HSBC North America Holdings Inc, HSBC USA Inc and HSBC Bank USA Boards in January 2023. Ms. Elmgart received both her Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering, in 1998, and her Masters in Computer Science, in 2003, from the University College in London.

Susan Greenwell

Senior Vice President & Head of Global Government Relations, MetLife

Susan Greenwell is senior vice president and head of global government relations at MetLife, a global provider of life insurance, annuities, employee benefits and asset management. In her role, she serves as an advisor to the company鈥檚 business leaders and supports MetLife鈥檚 position in all relevant political, regulatory and legislative arenas in the U.S. and in forty countries in Latin America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa. Greenwell is also responsible for overseeing MetLife鈥檚 relationships with external partners such as trade associations, think tanks, and academic experts.

Greenwell had been leading MetLife鈥檚 international government relations department since 2007 and prior to that served as vice president in the Office of the Chairman, President and CEO. She joined the company as chief of staff to the President of International in 2004. Prior to joining MetLife, Greenwell held positions at the Weatherhead East Asian Institute of Columbia University, the American Forum for Global Education, and Xi鈥檃n Jiaotong University in China.

Dieter Hendrickx

Head - Prudential Policy Insurance, National Bank of Belgium

Dieter Hendrickx was appointed the Head of Prudential Policy Insurance at the National Bank of Belgium (NBB) in November 2018. He holds MSc degrees in Business Engineering and Financial and Actuarial Engineering from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. After working for close to four years in the Value and Risk Management Department of a large bancassurrance group, he joined the supervisor (the former Banking, Finance and Insurance Commission, later NBB) in April 2010.

He is currently a member of EIOPA鈥檚 Supervisory Steering Committee and an alternate voting member to the EIOPA Board of Supervisors and Management Board. He was appointed as the Chair of the IAIS Macroprudential Committee in June 2020. At the same time, he also became a member of the IAIS Executive Committee.

Petra Hielkema

Chair, European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA)

Petra is the Chairperson of EIOPA and has been leading the Authority since September 2021. She is also member of the ESRB Steering Committee and the ESRB General Board and a voting member of the IAIS Executive Committee. Besides that she is the Champion of the IAIS Fintech Forum. Prior to this role Petra was Division Director of Insurance Supervision at De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB, the Dutch Central Bank). Petra joined DNB in February 2007 as a policy advisor, contributing to the development of Solvency II. In 2013 she became Head Insurance Policy and in 2015 she was appointed as Head of the DNB Expert Center for Fit & Proper assessments. In February 2017 Petra started as Director of Payments and Market. Prior to joining the Dutch Central Bank Petra had an international career as a financial advisor to emerging economies.

Prior to being appointed as EIOPA Chairperson Petra was an Alternate Member of the EIOPA Board of Supervisors. She was also the Chair of the EIOPA Policy Committee. Before that she participated in several EIOPA and CEIOPS working groups and fulfilled some international roles including Chair of the FSB fmiCBCM (recovery & resolution for CCPs), member of the BIS Committee for Payments and Market Infrastructures, member of the ECB Market Infrastructures Board, and member of the IAIS Technical Committee.

Jasmine Jirele

President & CEO, Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America

Jasmine Jirele became President and CEO of Allianz Life in 2021. Her leadership experience spans strategy, product innovation, marketing, operations, and digital and experience management. From 2018 to 2021, Jirele served as Allianz Life鈥檚 chief growth officer, where she was responsible for defining the company鈥檚 growth strategy, including its expansion into new markets, and leading product innovation, marketing, communications, Allianz Ventures and enterprise agile. She has held various leadership roles in marketing, product innovation and operations at Allianz Life, and has also served in executive roles at Wells Fargo Bank鈥檚 Consumer Bank and Wealth and Investment Management divisions.

Jirele serves on the boards of the American Council of Life Insurers, the Minnesota Business Partnership, YMCA of the North, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota, LIMRA LOMA and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. She holds a B.A. in business and journalism from the University of St. Thomas and an MBA from Hamline University.

Ken Johnson

Managing Director, AM Best

Ken Johnson is managing director at AM Best, an independent insurance information and rating service provider. Since joining AM Best in 2009, Ken has held various positions, including heading up the corporate research function. He is currently responsible for managing teams of senior analysts that prepare financial rating recommendations for life/annuity and property/casualty composite companies and global reinsurers, as well as performance assessments for Delegated Underwriting Authority Enterprises. Ken also is a co-founding member of both the Investment Working Group and Hybrid Evaluation Group, along with serving as a standing senior member of the AM Best rating committee.

Before joining AM Best, Ken served as a senior vice president at HSBC Securities and held senior roles at HSBC and JPM/Chase Manhattan Bank covering the insurance industry in various capacities. Ken was formally credit-trained through Chase Manhattan鈥檚 MBA Credit Training Program. He holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, as well as the Chartered Alternative Investment Asset (CAIA) and Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designations. He received his master鈥檚 degree in bank finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Herbert H. Lehman College.

Mark Lomas

Head of Culture, Lloyd's of London

Mark has delivered numerous diversity and inclusion projects in the UK and internationally for organisations across a wide variety of sectors, including The Financial Reporting Council, Lloyds Market Association (UK and International) Inclusive Recruitment review, Bermuda Hospital Board, Groupama Insurance, The BBC, Sheffield University, NHS Clinical Commissioning Group Boards, Highways England, ITV, DR TV Denmark, Lloyds Market Association & The Bermuda Human Rights Commission and The Law Society.

Mark is a published author on the topic of Equality and Diversity having authored the Law Society E&D Risk & Compliance Toolkit which assists law firms to comply with regulation and is the co-author of research published for Arts Council England on Goal 5: Equality & Diversity for Young People in the arts.

Mark is an executive committee member of the R.I.D.I. (Recruitment Industry Disability Initiative) campaign and a Non-executive Director of NHS Property Services with responsibility for People, Culture, Diversity & Inclusion.

In January 2016 Mark took up the role as Head of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion for HS2. Under Mark鈥檚 leadership, HS2 have won a number of EDI Awards including the 2017 ENEI Awards for Inclusive Procurement, Innovation with impact and Overall Public Sector Winner categories, three REACH Society awards for its work Inspiring Young BAME Individuals, Professional Role Models & Corporate Champions categories, The Apollo Award for Best Supplier Diversity Programme, the Women in Rail 鈥淭op Employer鈥 2018 award, ENEI Inclusive Procurement Award 2018, Gold Award for the ENEI TIDE benchmark, MSDUK Global Inclusive Procurement Award 2018 and the VERCIDA No.1 Gender Inclusive Employer in the UK 2018. In 2019 Mark won Head of Diversity of the year at the Inclusive Companies annual Diversity Awards and in 2020 was named on the People Magazine Top 20 Diversity & Inclusion Powerlist and in 2021 was recognised by D&I Leader co. as one of the Top  100 Global inspirational D&I Leaders. In 2021, Mark was awarded FCIPD, fellowship status of Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development.

Mark joined Lloyd鈥檚 as Head of Culture in January 2022. In September 2022 Mark was recognised by Hive Learning as one of the Top 75 DEI professionals in EMEA making a lasting impact on inclusive culture. Mark has lead Lloyd鈥檚 to Gold standard on the Clear Assured Accreditation framework and to Disability Confident Leader status in 2023. Under Mark鈥檚 leadership, the international Diversity Festival, Dive In has evolved and now includes an outreach and reverse mentoring programme, engaging over 35,000 people with participants from 97 countries globally.

Douglas Niemann

Executive Vice President & CRO, Athene Holding Ltd.

Douglas Niemann is Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer, where he is responsible for overseeing enterprise risk management functions as well as providing key support in connection with strategic operating decisions. Prior to joining in 2020, Douglas was Senior Managing Director of Investment Management and Chief Investment Risk Officer for Guardian Life Insurance Company. Previously, he was Managing Director and Chief Investment Strategist of Global Insurance Solutions at JP Morgan Asset Management and served as Managing Director and Head of Asset Liability Management at AIG Asset Management. He also held positions of Head of Investment and Financial Risk and Head of Group Risk Modeling at Zurich Financial Services.

Douglas has a MBA in Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Wisconsin Madison School of Business and a BA in Economics from Northwestern University.

Chandara K. Phanachone

Director - Insurance Diversity Initiative, California Department of Insurance

Chandara K. Phanachone is the Director of the Insurance Diversity Initiative at the California Department of Insurance where she leads public policies to advance greater opportunities in supplier and insurer boardroom diversity for women, LGBTQ+ people, veterans, disabled veterans, people with disabilities, and historically underrepresented communities.  In her role, Chandara advises California鈥檚 chief insurance regulator on key insurance diversity policies & issues as part of the National Association of Insurance Commissioner鈥檚 Special (EX) Committee on Race & Insurance and serves as co-chair of the Member Diversity Leadership Forum. Chandara earned her MBA from the UC Davis Graduate School of Management and an undergraduate degree in Political Science from UC Berkeley.

Dr. Guillermo Pedro Plate

Superintendent, Superintendencia de Seguros de la Naci贸n, Argentina

Guillermo Plate is a lawyer, graduated from Universidad Cat贸lica Argentina and has a Master鈥檚 degree in International Law from Duke University School of Law (United States) and a Master in Business Law from the Universidad Austral (Argentina).

Plate has an extensive background in insurance, having served in the SSN (Superintendencia de Seguros de la Naci贸n) during the 2017-2019 management. During those years he developed close ties with the 不良研究所官方, following his participation as a student in the International Fellows Program.

He also worked for leading law firms and companies and served as manager of fiduciary services in International Banking.

Chuchatr Pramoolpol

Secretary-General, Office of Insurance Commission Thailand

Chuchatr Pramoolpol currently serves as Secretary General of the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC) Thailand, which is responsible for regulating and supervising the Thai insurance industry. He assumed this position since November 2023 and has nearly 30 years of experience in overseeing insurance business in Thailand. He held many important roles in the OIC prior to his current position, such as Deputy Secretary General for both Insurance Examination and Insurance Supervision divisions.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Accountancy from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand and a Master of Business Administration from Angelo State University, Texas, USA.

Dr. Zhiyu (Frank) Quan

Assistant Professor, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign

Dr. Zhiyu (Frank) Quan is an Assistant Professor at the Program for Actuarial and Risk Management Sciences of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and InsurTech lead for Discovery Partners Institute. He holds a Ph.D. in Actuarial Science from the University of Connecticut. Before joining Illinois, he worked in a cutting-edge Insurtech company as a R & D data scientist developing data-driven solutions for major insurance companies. He has a broad spectrum of research interests in data science applications in insurance. His research projects are driven by real-life data and are inspired from collaborations with Insurtech and insurance companies. Besides, he is the director of the Illinois Risk Lab, which facilitates research activities that integrate academic training with practical problem-solving in real business settings.

Pooja Rahman

Chief Risk Officer, Transamerica

As Chief Risk Officer for Transamerica, Pooja is responsible for assessing and advising on risks to business strategy and processes. She joined Transamerica in 2023 with over two decades of risk management, finance, and legal background in the insurance and investment industry. She has a Juris Doctor from Drake University Law School and a Master of Business Administration from the University of New Orleans. Additionally, she is a member of the Federal Reserve Board鈥檚 Insurance Policy Advisory Committee (IPAC). Outside of work, she is proud to serve on the national board of Easterseals and chairs the board鈥檚 audit committee.

Siham Ramli

Director - Communication & International Relations, Autorit茅 de Contr么le des Assurances et de la Pr茅voyance Sociale (ACAPS)

Ms. Siham Ramli joined ACAPS Morocco in 20216 as Director of Communication and International Relations. In this role, Ms Ramli represents ACAPS in international and regional insurance regulatory bodies. She is, since November 2022, the IAIS Executive Committee vice-chair for EMDE issues and is a member of several IAIS committees and groups. In 2021, she was elected Chair of the French-speaking supervisors鈥 group and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Organization of African Insurance Supervisory Authorities ( OAISA), and is an active member of the Arab Union of Insurance Supervisors (AUIS). In 2023, Siham Ramli was appointed vice-chair of the governing council of A2II - Access to insurance initiative.

Before joining ACAPS, Ms. Ramli held several senior positions namely as a senior advisor to the Minister of Economy and Finance and as a strategic advisor in a financial group.

Adam Rimmer

Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, FloodFlash

Adam first saw the potential of parametric insurance while working at RMS, the world鈥檚 largest catastrophe modelling firm. Whilst there, he and co-founder Ian Bartholomew structured and modelled triggers on over $2bn of parametric insurance products and catastrophe bonds to protect governments and large corporations in the US and around the world. They are now using those same principles on a scalable platform. The result is FloodFlash, the first sensor-based parametric flood solution that provides affordable coverage to the businesses, corporate and public entities that need it most.

Craig Swan

Chief Executive Officer, Bermuda Monetary Authority

As Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Craig Swan has overall responsibility for all supervisory and operational activities conducted by the BMA. In addition, he serves as an Executive Director on the BMA鈥檚 Board of Directors. 

Mr. Swan joined the Authority in 2006 and has held various positions, including Managing Director (Supervision) and, most recently, as Deputy CEO.

Prior to joining the Authority, Mr. Swan worked as Controller & Vice President, Strategic Information Services for Arthur J. Gallagher Bermuda.

Sandra L. Thompson

Director, Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA)

The Honorable Sandra L. Thompson was nominated by President Joseph R. Biden to serve as the Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) and was sworn in on June 22, 2022.

Thompson has over 40 years of private and public sector finance experience, with expertise in supervision, consumer protection, risk management, and consumer outreach. Prior to leading the agency, Thompson serv ed as Deputy Director of the Division of Housing Mission and Goals (DHMG) since March 2013, overseeing FHFA鈥檚 housing and regulatory policy, capital policy, fair lending, and mission-critical activities for the regulated government-sponsored entities of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and the Federal Home Loan Banks.

Before joining FHFA, Thompson worked at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) for more than 23 years in a variety of leadership positions, including as Director of the Division of Risk Management Supervision. Thompson is a graduate of Howard University in Washington, D.C.

Raghuveer Vinukollu

Head of Climate Insights & Advisory, Munich Re US

Raghuveer Vinukollu is the Head of Climate Insights and Advisory at Munich Reinsurance America, Inc. based in Princeton, New Jersey. He is a member of the Strategic Products team and also a core member of the Nat Cat Solutions group focusing on development of innovative products designed to cover various natural catastrophe and climate exposures.

Raghuveer has a PhD in land surface hydrology from Princeton University.  He has often expressed his thoughts on the impact of flooding and the changing risk landscape on personal property, local businesses and communities. He is a passionate advocate for climate adaptation and resiliency with emphasis on the role of insurance and public private partnerships in building resilient communities.

Peter Windsor

Senior Financial Sector Expert, International Monetary Fund

Peter Windsor is a Senior Financial Sector Expert specializing in insurance supervision and regulation.  He joined the IMF in February 2018 having previously worked for 9 years at the International Association of Insurance Supervisors where he coordinated the development of ComFrame and the global Insurance Capital Standard (ICS).  Prior to the IAIS, Peter spent 15 years at the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority. 

Since joining the Fund, Peter has been involved in delivering technical assistance, policy development and FSAPs, including completing work on insurance supervision and regulation for FSAPs for Canada, France, US and UK.
