The mission of the Surplus Lines (C) Task Force is to monitor the surplus lines market and regulation, including the activity and financial condition of U.S. and non-U.S. surplus lines insurers participating in the U.S. market by providing a forum for discussion of issues and to develop or amend relevant ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù¹Ù·½ model laws, regulations and/or guidelines. 

2025 Charges

  1. °Õ³ó±ð Surplus Lines (C) Task Force w¾±±ô±ô:

    1. Provide a forum for discussion of current and emerging surplus lines-related issues and topics of public policy and determine appropriate regulatory response and action.
    2. Review and analyze industry data on U.S. domestic and non-U.S. surplus lines insurers participating in the U.S. market. 
    3. Monitor federal legislation related to the surplus lines market, and ensure all interested parties remain apprised.
    4. Develop or amend relevant ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù¹Ù·½ model laws, regulations, and/or guidelines.
    5. Oversee the activities of the Surplus Lines (C) Working Group.
